Inside Sales Associate

Job Duties

  • Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by making 25 calls per day
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses
  • Gather and track information on potential clients
  • Track activities and results in our system
  • Providing sales quotes for all lines to clients and potential clients
  • Outbound sales calls to new leads as provided
  • Tracking of new business sales
  • Follow up on existing quotes
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Attend sales meetings and participate in professional development activities

Floor Care Equipment & Product Specialist


Job Title: Floor Care Equipment & Product Specialist

As an industry leader in wholesale distribution of food service, janitorial, industrial packaging, and office supplies, the Company partners with quality industry manufacturers.


The Floor Care Equipment & Product Specialist provides excellent customer service to established customers. Specialist supports the Floor Care Sales and Service program to deliver equipment to and from the customer, provide equipment demonstrations, and provide minor repairs.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and Demonstrate cleaning equipment
  • Prospect for equipment sales
  • General proposals / quotes
  • Deliver equipment and train end users on use and care
  • Travel in company-owned van to and from numerous customer stops
  • Transport equipment into and out of customer accounts
  • Be knowledgeable of products used to support use and care of equipment
  • Learn customers? floor care needs and suggest solutions (i.e. equipment, floor care cleaning products)
  • Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment support
  • Clean, maintain, and sanitize equipment and company vehicle.

Customer Service

Hill & Markes, Inc. is seeking professional, courteous, and experienced Customer Service Representatives. We handle a vast product line and work closely with our employees, customers, sales people, and other industry professionals. Core Duties

  • Handles customer calls courteously
  • Handles customer problems, enters orders, and order status
  • Attends to customer concerns, inquiries, and order requests
  • Reviews buying history of customer and places special orders
  • Develops and distributes order planner sheet for customers
